The Wooden Leg is an independent theatre company committed to developing new Australian plays and producing immersive theatre. We ask our audience to step into the world of the characters by performing narrative driven pieces in site specific and non-tradtional theatre locations. We aim to develop inclusive theatre that appeals to the different socio-cultural back grounds of Melbourne. Wooden Leg audiences are not passive, they will not simply observe, they will be asked to engage with our shows and be immersed in the performance - the production happening all around them.
